As previously reported, Ready at Dawn are working on a new PlayStation 4 I.P. titled The Order: 1886. The third-person shooter takes place in a Victorian London, although Ready at Dawn have had some fun with the setting, they reveal in a blog post.

This version of Neo-Victorian London has seen advances in technology. Electricity is present throughout the city well before its time and gas lamps are replaced by electric street lights. A subway system is in place, too, and instead of simply running underground, the trains run above ground as well, in between buildings.

In addition, watchtowers are placed throughout the city, and extend into the skyline, scanning the city. Finally, you and your squadmates will have access to advanced weaponry and communicators. All of these changes, Ready at Dawn say, arose from the Industrial Revolution.
