The Wonderful 101 Will Launch With Just 30,000 Copies In Japan

Japanese retail blog Sinobi has shared that it appears Nintendo will be shipping about 30,000 copies of The Wonderful 101 for the game’s launch in Japan.

As you can probably tell, that isn’t a large number—certainly not the figure you would expect of a high-profile Wii U exclusive—and doesn’t indicate good things about how much Nintendo expect the game to sell.

In a way, it makes sense—after all, The Wonderful 101 is a complicated game to explain. Hopefully, the game finds a larger audience over in the west.
