Just Like Neptunia, Fairy Fencer F Has A Transformation System Too

Fairy Fencer F uses Hyperdimenstion Neptunia V’s battle system as a base so we’re not too surprised to see Compile Heart add transformations in both games.

 

Transformations are tied to the tension gauge. When tension is high your attack power goes up and when its low your defense power drops. After the tension gauge rises to a certain point you can trigger a transformation which boosts all of your stats and use a special attack. Tension won’t rise after you transform so deciding when to trigger the transformation is key.

Shalman is one of the playable characters in Fairy Fencer F and he has a robot named Ryushin as his fairy partner.
