The Australian Classification Board has published a rating for Metal Gear Solid: Digital Novel Pack on DVD, which sounds like a standalone release of the two Metal Gear Solid digital graphic novels.

You may have heard of Metal Gear Solid: Digital Novel Pack before. It was a PSP release titled Metal Gear Solid: Digital Graphical Novel, but it wasn’t a game. It was an interactive comic book that served as a digital version of the Metal Gear Solid comics by Ashley Wood, featuring music and sound.

A DVD version of the graphic novel was released in Japan a few years ago, with a second graphic novel included, and this never was released in the west until recently.

Then, this year, the Metal Gear Solid digital graphic novels were included with Metal Gear Solid: The Legacy Collection on a Blu-Ray disc. Series creator Hideo Kojima recommends checking them out if you don’t feel inclined to play through the first two Metal Gear Solids.
