Fencers And Fairies Combine In This First Trailer For Fairy Fencer F

Compile Heart has released their first promo trailer for Fairy Fencer F, their newest RPG for the PlayStation 3 featuring the Final Fantasy artist Yoshitaka Amano and composer Nobuo Uematsu. Narrating the trailer is Pipin (the green creature), accompanied by the opening theme Resonant World, performed by Maho Matsunaga.

Set in a world where a goddess and evil god once warred against each other with weapons called Furies, the game puts you in the shoes of Fang, a Fencer who is able to wield the Furies. The goddess and evil god were sealed long ago, but by collecting Furies, you have the potential to release either being.

In addition, you can use Furies to alter dungeons and battle enemies. With the Fairize ability, you can also fuse with the Fairy residing in a Fury and embrace its full power.

The limited edition package will include two illustrated cards, a side story novel, and a “Secret Date” drama CD, while people who pre-order the game will receive an illustration book. Fairy Fencer F will be released on September 19 for the PlayStation 3.
