Call of Duty: Ghosts is being developed on a new, next-generation Call of Duty engine, Activision said at Microsoft’s Xbox reveal today.

New to the game is a dog, who will be a member of your team. The dog will be a character you care about, Activision claimed, and will perform functions such as sniffing out bombs and protecting your team.

Behind-the-scenes clips showed this dog character being motion-captured by a real dog at a mocap studio.

Additionally, Microsoft and Activision also announced that all downloadable content for Call of Duty: Ghosts will be released first on Xbox One.
