Soma Schicksal the quiet God Eater from Gods Eater Burst returns for God Eater 2. God Eater 2 takes place three years after the first game and Soma decided to drop the hoodie for a more sophisticated look. Players are a God Eater in Blood, a special forces division and affiliate of Fenrir, the anti-Aragami group from Burst.

Famitsu shared screenshots of Soma and detailed requirements players need to complete to transfer their data from Gods Eater Burst into God Eater 2.

God Eater 2 is slated for release this year on PSP and PlayStation 3.
