Sentai Filmworks have acquired the licensing rights to release Devil Survivor 2 The Animation in North America, the licensor announced this morning. The anime series is based on the Devil Survivor 2 game by Atlus, and is thirteen episodes in length.

Sentai say that Devil Survivor 2 The Animation will be “available soon through select digital outlets with a home video release to follow later this year”.

Coinciding with the anime series in Japan is an updated version of the Devil Survivor 2 game, slated for release on the Nintendo 3DS this Summer. Devil Survivor 2: Break Record adds a brand new story that takes place after the original game, and is reported to be around the length of a full RPG itself. This new scenario can be selected right from the start.

Atlus USA have not yet announced a North American release for Devil Survivor 2: Break Record.
