Eidos Celebrate April Fool’s Day With 8-Bit Deus Ex: Human Defiance

This morning, Square Enix and Eidos Montreal pulled their April Fool’s stunt with a joke reveal of Deus Ex: Human Defiance. It isn’t a movie or a follow-up to Human Revolution—it’s an 8-bit game:

Eidos say: “Human Revolution brought about the cyber-Renaissance, Human Defiance marks the beginning of a Digital Golden Age.” Like regular Deus Ex games, Human Defiance will feature multiple options when it comes to tackling a given situation, from gunplay to being stealthy, and non-lethal boss fights.

 

Additionally, Eidos say that Deus Ex: Human Defiance will has a co-op multiplayer mode that teams Adam Jensen up with previous Deus Ex protagonist J.C. Denton.
