Soul Sacrifice just came out in Japan and in early April the game will get a major update. Sony Computer Entertainment plans on supporting the game post launch with new maps, quests, and monsters. The first update has a unique map called Goliath where you enter the body over a gigantic warrior. The map has gimmicks like digestive fluids to dodge to make players feel like they’re diving into a world of organs. Kind of reminiscent of the Ki’s Body scenario in Final Fantasy Legend II / SaGa II.

The April update also adds Dullahan a corrupted knight that turned into a monster because of its lust for violence. Dullahan holds its head in its hands which can be used as a weapon.

The Behemoth is a victim of gluttony. Before becoming a monster the Behemoth was a regular boy. His parents disowned him after he ate these delicious apples that transformed him into the beast below. The Behemoth now uses apples to attack warriors in Soul Sacrifice.
