Injustice: Gods Among Us is coming to Japan, but it will take two months for Solomon Grundy to learn Japanese. The DC comics fighting game will be available on June 9, but Warner Bros. is skipping Xbox 360. Injustice: Gods Among Us is a PS3 and Wii U game in the region.
Spike Chunsoft picked up Terraria, a port of a 2D digging/action game from Re-Logic, but again it appears to be a PS3 only title in Japan. In the West, Terraria will be released as a downloadable game for PS3 and Xbox 360. Other multiplatform titles like Metal Gear Rising: Revengance and Silent Hill: Downpour are also PS3 exclusive in Japan. With a handful of publishers already dropping Xbox 360 support in Japan this early on, I wonder how Microsoft will try to convince gamers in Japan to pick up their next console. Microsoft actively worked with Japanese developers for Xbox 360 by publishing games like Blue Dragon, Ninety-Nine Nights, Lost Odyssey, Everyparty from Game Republic, and Ninja Blade from FromSofware. Microsoft also signed a deal with tri-Ace to start Infinite Undiscovery (which was later published by Square Enix) and brought Monster Hunter Frontier Online to their system.
