Soul Sacrifice has a release date in North America and Europe. Sony will release the Vita game on April 30th in North America and May 1st in Europe.
Pre-ordering Soul Sacrifice in either territory will get you two extra costumes and three magic items—Spirits’ Flamespike, Spirits’ Blightstone and Spirits’ Fulgurwood—to use in battle. However, there’s one other pre-order bonus as well—the game’s Japanese voice-track, which you’ll receive for free by pre-ordering. Sony have plans to make this available as paid DLC at a later date.
Soul Sacrifice is a mission-based game that can be played co-operatively with other players, and if you sacrifice yourself to save your teammates, you become a ghost that can watch the battlefield, with the ability to see everyone’s stats, including those of the enemy.
Soul Sacrifice is being developed by Mega Man creator, Keiji Inafune, in collaboration with Marvelous AQL. You can read an interview we conducted with Inafune about the game last year.
