We recently found learned that players will be able to customize one of their Felyne companions in Monster Hunter 4. Here’s a closer look at how that works.
As previously reported, players will be able to take up to two Felyne companions on the hunt, with one being the main and the other a sub-Felyne. Depicted in the images below are a couple of the customization options for your Felyne’s eyes, ears and fur pattern.
Meanwhile, your sub-Felyne can be chosen out of the many you’ve collected. The Union Attacks performed with the two Felynes will be determined by the sub-Felyne’s abilities, which means you’ll have a selection of union attacks to choose from, depending on which sub-Felyne you opt to use. Below, you can find two examples of these—an attack with a rocket and another with a tank.
Monster Hunter 4 is slated to be released this summer on Nintendo 3DS.
