Arc System Works announced the update that changes Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus for PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade into Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R is slated for release this spring.
Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R is a rebalanced version of the fighting game currently playable in arcades. The title update will let users switch between Accent Core Plus and Accent Core Plus R modes in the settings menu. Players will be able to use Kliff and Justice in online play in Plus R mode.
The Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R patch also adds a new logo, achievements/trophies, and a separate +R leaderboard. Arc System Works will also improve online play by speeding ranked match matchmaking up and improving settings settings for latency and area specifications. Players will also be able to select either the 1P or 2P side during online fights.
