The Last of Us Ventures Out In May 2013; New Trailer Inside

Sony have released a new trailer for The Last of Us, Naughty Dog’s next PlayStation 3 game, along with a release date announcement—May 7th, 2013 in both the U.S. and Europe. Take a look at the trailer below:

Pre-ordering The Last of Us in both regions will get you the game’s “Sights and Sounds Pack,” which includes the game’s official soundtrack, a PS3 dynamic theme featuring the game’s cover art, and Winter Joel and Winter Ellie PSN avatars.

 

Additionally, pre-ordering the game from GameStop (or participating retailers in Europe) will get you the Survival Pack, which includes bonus experience points for the game’s multiplayer mode, a multiplayer melee attack booster, extra starting in-game cash, special customizable character items for multiplayer, and two unlockable bonus skins for Joel and Ellie.

 

Yes, The Last of Us will have multiplayer, but Sony and Naughty Dog are keeping details on the multiplayer mode under wraps for the time being.
