Nintendo announced the electronic TV guide for Wii U will launch alongside the console in Japan on December 8. TVii pulls data from Rovi’s G-Guide and lets players scroll through listings on the GamePad. What’s interesting is the TV remote control feature, a built-in freebie in North America, costs 100 yen ($1.20) in Japan.
