Sumitomo Mitsui just released the Tales of Xillia 2 card in Japan. To attract more members and get them to spend they’re offering a set of three bookmarks if you sign up before February 28, 2013. Spend 10,000 yen ($123) or more before then and you also get a pocket watch as a gift.

The Tales card has other spending "bonuses" like getting a set of washcloths for 200 points. Right, but you have to charge 1,000 yen for 1 point so you’ll need to spend at least 200,000 yen ($2460) to get the towels. Accumulate 400 points (i.e. spend 400,000 yen) and you get a book cover. Yeah?
