Disgaea Reincarnated As A Card Game For Mobile Phones

Social game maker GREE can add another intellectual property to their growing list. They have Disgaea on their service with Disgaea Makai Collection. Dione Entertainment, a subsidiary of Nippon Ichi Software, made turned the strategy RPG series into a card game. Players can collect cards with characters from the entire Disgaea series. Although, it looks like the lead characters from Disgaea: Hour of Darkness have an edge.

Cards level up when you fight monsters and there’s a Disgaea twist to the series – the reincarnation system is in Disgaea Makai Collection.

Disgaea: Makai Collection is available in Japan now for feature phones with a smartphone release planned in the future. It’s the second Disgaea game for mobile phones following Disgaea Unbounded for Android.
