CyberConnect2 makes a post time skip Naruto game

Usually around this time of the year CyberConnect2 releases a new installment of the Naruto: Narultimate Hero (Naruto: Ultimate Ninja) series in Japan. This year the only Naruto fighting game coming out is Naruto: Shinobi Retsudan, for the DS and its made by Tomy. What has CyberConnect2 been doing besides making .hack sequels? They’ve been working on Naruto Shippuuden: Narultimate Accel (Naruto Hurricane Chronicles: Narultimate Accel) for the Playstation 2. It’s a brand new Naruto fighting game with a “grown up” Naruto past the time skip. It is also coming out around the same time as the new manga series in the first quarter of 2007.
