Nippon Ichi Bundling Phantom Kingdom Character With Budget Disgaea 3

On January 15, less than year after Disgaea 3 was released in Japan, it will join the PlayStation the Best series. “The Best” games are essentially Japan’s Greatest Hits collection. In addition to being friendlier on the wallet the Disgaea 3 reprint will come with a bonus code to download Emperor Royal King Dark III.

You might remember Royal King Dark III’s thunderous roar if you played Phantom Kingdom. He will be a playable character in Disgaea 3, but Nippon Ichi hasn’t said what abilities he’s going to get. Anyone who already owns the Japanese version of Disgaea 3 will be able to get Royal King Dark III too, perhaps by paying a small fee.

I’m pretty sure we’re going to see Royal King Dark III as a downloadable character in North America too. It might be months, though, since NIS America still has tons of other downloadable cameos to roll out.
