Compile Heart shared a new video of Neptunia V’s battle system which is based on Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2. One main change is the CPUs can transform into weapons another character can use for a powerful attack. You can also call in other characters for assist attacks and Neptune has an devastating EXE drive attack tied to a separate meter. We’re not quite sure what Pururut is doing at the end punching the stuffed animal, but that looks painful too.

Neptunia V comes out on August 30 for PlayStation 3 in Japan.
