You Put A Tarutaru In My Dissidia: Final Fantasy (Update)

Dissidia: Final Fantasy still has some surprises even after the character roster was revealed and one of them is going beyond Final Fantasy I – X. Shantotto, a quest NPC that plays a key role in the Treasures of Aht Urhgan expansion pack, will make an appearance in Dissidia. The announcement was made at Vana Fes 2008, but what she does in the game and if she is playable hasn’t been revealed.

Shantotto will also get a new scenario in Final Fantasy XI entitled A Shantotto Ascension – The Legend Torn, Her Empire Born. In this side story Shantotto returns to Windurst claiming she rules an empire. Her “new” personality shocks her friends and adventurers in the MMO set out on an adventure to discover what happened to her. Perhaps, this will be a connection to Dissidia: Final Fantasy’s story line?
