Wipeout 2048 DLC Adds Wipeout HD And Fury Tracks And Ships

Wipeout HD and its Fury expansion pack are being added to Wipeout 2048 on the PlayStation Vita today as DLC. Sony’s Studio Liverpool have prepped two separate DLC packs, containing content from the two games, re-imagined for Wipeout 2048.

The “WipEout 2048 WipEout HD Add-On Pack” for $8 will add the full single-player Wipeout HD campaign as well as all of the online multiplayer tracks to Wipeout 2048. That’s 12 new tracks (including eight reverse tracks), 12 additional ships, and a Zone mode ship. This pack will also make twelve additional tracks compatible for cross-play multiplayer between the PS3 and Vita games.

The second pack will add the content from the Fury expansion. The “WipEout 2048 WipEout HD Fury Add-On Pack,” also for $8, adds the full Fury campaign mode with 12 tracks (including four reverse and four Zone mode tracks), 24 ships, and a Zone mode ship. This one, too, makes 12 more tracks compatible with crossplay.

You can also buy both DLC packs together for $13 as a special bundle. To make it clear, this will give you all 24 additional tracks, four Zone mode tracks, 24 additional ships, and a Zone mode ship, all of which will be compatible with crossplay.
