PlayStation Vita sales: 13,383 | Total sales: 731,055

Tokyo Jungle was last week’s big release, and the quirky post-apocalyptic survival game where you play as a bunch of different animals sold 110,000 copies in its first week. That isn’t too bad a number for the kind of crazy game it is. Hopefully, we’ll get a shipment number for the game from sales tracker, Media Create, later this week.

At the #2 spot was Dragon Quest Monsters: Terry’s Wonderland 3D, which sold 83,000 copies in its second week, down from the 513,000 copies it sold last week. That’s a drop of nearly 84%. By comparison, Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2 only dropped 59% in its second week, but its second week also happened to fall bang in the middle of Golden Week, which helped maintain sales.

Something else to note is that Terry’s Wonderland 3D sold through 94% of its shipment, and it sold out at numerous stores the day it was released. One can’t help but wonder if the game is facing a supply shortage. This certainly wouldn’t be the first time a 3DS game has had that problem.
