Are Konami Teasing The Next Castlevania Game?

Konami have put up a teaser website for what could possibly be the next Castlevania game. On their Facebook page, the publisher uploaded the image above and a message reading “The Dragon Returns on 5.31.12,” with a link to this site. The site itself displays the following image:

In the Romanian language, “dracul” can mean either “the dragon” or “the devil,” which is where the possible connection to Castlevania comes from. Konami are rumoured to have two Castlevania games in development—Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 for a multiplatform console release, and Castlevania: Mirror of Fate for the Nintendo 3DS. We’ll probably learn of at least one of them on May 31st.
