Next Tales Of Game Asks Would You Destroy The World For A Girl?

Tales series producer Hideo Baba spoke to Famitsu about the next Tales of title ahead of the game’s reveal. The next Tales game will be a "mothership" or core game in the series.

While other Tales games have a fantasy feel with swords and magic, this Tales game will have a modern feel to it. Baba assures fans the game will play like other Tales titles and considers this a challenge to take the Tales series to the "next stage."

The game’s tagline is – "Are you prepared to destroy the world for the sake of a girl?" Baba elaborated saying this phrase is key to the story and gameplay. Like other Tales titles the next Tales game is set in a new world.

Baba also said other Tales titles are in development at Namco Bandai, but didn’t offer any other details. The next Tales of game will be revealed on June 2.
