Sonic Labyrinth Is Japan’s Next Game Gear Title On 3DS Virtual Console

Japan’s 3DS Virtual Console gets another Game Gear title this week—Sonic Labyrinth, a puzzle platformer. Like Sonic 3D Blast, this game is played from an isometric view. Dr. Robotnik has stolen Sonic’s shoes, so there’s no running around at super speed in Labyrinth. Instead, you solve puzzles and collect keys to complete each stage.

Each stage in Sonic Labyrinth is also timed. There are four Zones in the game, with three Acts each. It’ll go up on the Nintendo eShop on May 16th for 300 yen.
