Square Enix partnered with Ubisoft to create an Assassin’s Creed costume for Final Fantasy XIII-2 protagonist Noel. Then the publisher announced they were working with Electronic Arts on Mass Effect outfits. The latest Final Fantasy XIII collaboration blends fantasy and reality by putting Lightning in Arena Homme+ Play.
Characters from Final Fantasy XIII and its sequel XIII-2 will model Prada’s Men’s Spring and Summer 2012 collection. Visual Works, the Square Enix owned CG studio behind Final Fantasy’s cinematics, made the models for the "photo shoot."
"The Final Fantasy series is known for its creativity and innovation; so working with Prada, a renowned fashion house with such beautiful clothing, was a very exciting opportunity. The images we have been able to create together are vibrant and unique," said Yoshinori Kitase, producer of Final Fantasy XIII-2.
The 12-page feature in the April 12 issue has Snow, Sazh, Hope, Noel, and Lightning in it. And no, Square Enix has not announced Prada downloadable content for Final Fantasy XIII-2… yet.
