Chubby Cartoon Cat Poyopoyo’s Pokemon Snap Style Game

Did you read this week’s import release schedule and say what’s Poyopoyo? Well, he’s a cat. A chubby "spherical cat" that went from a four panel comic to a TV show earlier this year. (If you don’t know what we’re talking about watch this.) In the of Poyopoyo video game, you take pictures of the round cat while Moe takes care of him. It’s kind of like Pokémon Snap since you’re graded on how cute the pictures are.

You start the game as a photographer in training and can work your way up to a first class photographer just by taking pictures of Poyopoyo. The points you earn can be used to purchase items like ribbons to make him cuter. Since Poyopoyo is a photography game, IE Institute added augmented reality elements. Place the ? mark card down and Poyopoyo will rise from it so you can take pictures of him anywhere.

Poyopoyo also has pet sim elements like petting him using the stylus and giving him a bath. Poyopoyo comes out on April 5 for Nintendo 3DS in Japan.
