Sega is porting over the arcade Fist of the North Star game to the Playstation 2 in March 2007. We’re not talking about Konami’s “Punchmania” machines where orange pads pop up for players to literally hit. We’re talking about the 2D fighting game developed by Arc System Works (Guilty Gear). The Hotaku no Ken fighting game’s system has seven star system where you can knock out an opponent’s stars. If you remove all seven stars you will be able to do a one hit kill attack during the round. While you attack you fill up the boost and aura gauges. The boost gauge can be used to dash forward and cancel attacks. Players can get really technical with the boost gauge and string a couple of boosts in a combo for a long chain of attacks.
