Is The Marth In Fire Emblem: Awakening Your Friend? Foe? Both?

Nintendo released a new video of Fire Emblem: Awakening on the Nintendo Channel in Japan. It’s a story trailer and it looks one of the main threat is an evil eye that cries cursed troops. Marth is featured in the clip too – first as a foe Fire Emblem: Awakening protagonist Krom and later as an ally when he saves Krom’s sister Liz from an attack.

In Fire Emblem: Awakening, Marth (or possibly someone claiming to be him) is a legend. This game takes place many years after the events in Shadow Dragon and by the time Awakening takes place people think of Marth as a Hero King.

Fire Emblem: Awakening comes out on April 19 in Japan.
