Killaware’s Next Game Is Another Time Another Leaf

Half a year passed since Killaware released Lux Pain in Japan and the studio started by Atlus veterans is starting on their next project. Like Lux Pain, Another Time Another Leaf is a story based adventure game with a high school detective that can travel through time via a magic mirror. The gameplay system sounds reminds me of Final Fantasy II with much less party member whacking. You cut clues from conversations and save them as part of your investigation. Instead of demonstrating the cut & action system Another Time Another Leaf’s Tokyo Game Show trailer just teases with a look at the protagonist.

I guess that’s OK now since Arc System Works has time to show us the game at a later date. Another Time Another Leaf is scheduled to come out in Japan in spring. Since Arc System Works is the publisher chances are good, like really good, Aksys will publish the game in North America.
