Square Enix haven’t forgotten about Imaginary Range 2. In fact, they’re still working on it. While the iPhone game was meant to be released in 2011, it was recently delayed while Square dealt with development difficulties, including debugging work.

This week, Square reported via the game’s Facebook page that Imaginary Range 2 is finally past the QA phase. Submission to Apple and other details remain to be sorted out, but Square say the hardest part of the development process is done.

If you played the first Imaginary Range game, you’ll recall it was free. Imaginary Range 2 will be free as well, Square Enix have confirmed, but will be supported by in-game banner ads.
