The PlayStation 3 is the only console without a dedicated Bomberman game, but that’s changing this winter with the release of Bomberman Ultra over the PlayStation Network. Like Bomberman Live, Bomberman Ultra supports eight player online matches, customizable characters (we’re up to 150,000 combinations now), and includes 14 arenas to play with. Actually, Bomberman Ultra sounds a lot like Bomberman Live. Mr. Destructoid makes an appearance in the game too. Even if this is a port Bomberman Live was great and you get free online play with the PlayStation 3.
Bomberman Ultra will be one the games Hudson is showing at Tokyo Game Show. The others? It’s confusing since Hudson USA sent us a list that’s different than what Hudson Japan has. I’ll post both since it’s likely Hudson with have both sets of games at their booth.
Hudson Japan:
Hardworking People (Wii)
Tetris Party (Wii)
Karoke Joysound (Wii)
Momotarou Dentetsu: 20 (DS)
Custom Battler Bomberman (DS)
Moe-jong (PSP)
Bomberman Online (PC)
Hudson USA:
Marble Saga: Kororinpa (Wii)
Fishing Master World Tour (Wii)
Bomberman Ultra (PS3)
