Before Hudson was absorbed into Konami, they released a successful series of Wii karaoke games linked to a library of songs. Users could sing one of 65,000+ songs from Xing’s database as if you were sitting in a karaoke box instead of your couch. In Japan, Karaoke Joysound Wii had a subscription fee where you could buy a daily ticket for 300 Wii Points or a three month "Super DX" subscription for 2,000 Wii Points.

Konami is bringing Karaoke Joysound to North America soon and this version probably won’t have the latest hits from Glay and Tohoshinki. An ESRB listing hints the game will have Western music like "Womanizer" from Britney Spears and maybe "How Your Remind Me" from Nickelback.
