Game Boy Tetris And Free 3DS Messaging App Landing On Japan’s eShop

Next week’s 3DS Virtual Console release in Japan goes back to the very roots of the Game Boy — Tetris will be landing on the eShop for 400 yen.

Meanwhile, this week’s eShop download (out today in Japan) is Swapnote, a messaging app that lets you message people on your Nintendo 3DS friends list. Swapnote is a free app, and lets you send handwritten messages, photos and sounds. You can watch a video for it above.

 

Swapnote is slated for release sometime this month in the U.S. and Europe as well. In Europe, it will be titled Nintendo Letter Box. The app will be a free download in all regions.
