Crimson Room Creeps Onto The PSP

This article is over 16 years old and may contain outdated information

Crimson Room, a free to play escape from the room flash game made its way to the Nintendo DS last year with a quick port by Success. It was a budget title and it didn’t offer anything new since the four puzzles in the Crimson Room were already online. On December 18, Success will take a second stab using their Crimson Room license on the PSP with Crimson Room Reverse. While this doesn’t offer intuitive touch screen control, Crimson Room Reverse has four new puzzles, presumably colorful rooms, to escape from. The four existing puzzles are packaged in the game too so you get a total of eight room escapes on a single UMD. The downside is Crimson Room’s puzzles one part brainteaser and one part a pixel hunt/click-a-thon, a game designed for a mouse. Using the PSP’s analog stick to control a mouse cursor just isn’t as user friendly.
