Is THQ Bringing Arena FPS Nexuiz To Consoles?

This week, Capcom announced they were going to release Sour Patch Kids: World Gone Sour for PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade. They may have picked up the publishing rights for a downloadable first person shooter too.

Introducing Nexuiz, a first person shooter created by Illfonic with CryEngine 3. The game was slated for release for PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 for summer 2011.

 

 

While Nexuiz missed its target ship date, Illfonic may have found a publishing partner to bring the game to consoles. According to Australia’s Classification Board, Capcom is publishing Nexiuz. Look for Capcom’s FPS… soon?

 

Update: The Classification Board updated their rating, which now lists THQ, not Capcom, as the publisher. Look for THQ’s downloadable FPS… soon?
