Ubisoft tossed Senko no Ronde’s bizarre, but satisfying blend of shooting and one on one mecha fights into North American retail stores with little warning. Needless to say the game failed… miserably. Brand new copies were slashed from $60 to a mere $9.99 at Gamestop in just four months. This must be some kind of dubious record. Senko no Ronde, excuse me Wartech: Senko no Ronde, launched for failure.
G. Rev isn’t giving up on Senko no Ronde, it’s still a popular arcade game at home in Japan. At the 46th Amusement Machine show, G.Rev will show off Senko no Ronde: Dis-United Order. Six characters have been announced so far and if you played the first game you should be able to recognize at least two of them. Baek Chang Po (pictured) and Cuilan are back.
