Next Gundam Strategy Game Will Be More Action Packed, Says Namco Bandai

Mobile Suit Gundam: Trails of the Wooden Horse is described as a new genre of Gundam strategy game that blends the simulation genre with action elements, but I’d call it a real time strategy game.

The game has three different perspectives. Battlefield mode gives you a rough idea about how fights are progressing. You can direct groups of units to attack at once. Units you send out will automatically attack after you give them orders, but you can zoom in on the action in local area mode. This pauses the action and lets players micromanage battles.

Mobile Suit Gundam: Trails of the Wooden Horse comes out on January 26 for PSP
