Set three years after the events of Gods Eater Burst, the world in God Eater 2 is still populated by Aragami. Things have taken a turn for the worse because a Red Rain poured on the land and spread sickness to the survivors in Fenrir’s Far East Branch. A new group called Blood is sent in to investigate.
Blood’s headquarters is a moving fortress called Freyja.
God Eater 2 introduces two new transforming weapons. The Burst Hammer is a giant weapon designed to strike an enemy multiple times.
The Charge Spear specializes in linear piercing attacks. Once you lock on to an enemy’s weak spot you can poke it death.
Developer Shift created new Aragami for God Eater 2, meet Marduk.
And players will visit new locales like the Icy Blue Ravine shown below.
God Eater 2 is slated for release on PSP next year in Japan.
