Square Enix Are Doing “Something” With The World Ends With You

This week’s issue of Famitsu magazine features an interview with Tetsuya Nomura about Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance.

Famitsu asked the creator if Neku’s appearance in the game as a guest character was a hint that Nomura still has plans for The World Ends With You.

 

Replying to the question, Nomura wouldn’t confirm a sequel outright but stated that Neku’s presence could be a hint of something coming and that Square Enix are working on something. For now, that’s as close to an official announcement as we’re going to get.
