You have my warrior in your Fire Emblem DS

Fire Emblem: Shin Ankoku Ryuu to Hikari no Ken (Fire Emblem: New Dark Dragon and Light Sword) has an interesting way to use Nintendo Wi-Fi. If you can get online there is an online shop that sells items, sometimes rare items, for in game money. I hope Nintendo plans to rotate items in the shop and use this as a gateway to give advanced players downloadable content for the price of virtual gold.

Even more novel is a system where players can trade units online. Well, Fire Emblem warriors aren’t Pokemon so you can’t trade them. You can lease them to other players, but they still belong to the original owner. It isn’t clear if leased warriors reap the benefits of additional experience points, but wouldn’t it be interesting to see a community super solider leveled up by multiple players? I guess that would break the game, but then again so can leasing a maximum level warrior from a buddy.
