Lord of Arcana, Square Enix’s take on the growing hunting genre, didn’t light up any sales charts, but it may be getting a sequel. Square Enix filed a trademark for Lord of Apocalypse in Japan, which could be a follow up to Access Game’s PSP title.

Another possibility for Lord of Apocalypse is it’s another sequel to Lord of Vermilion, the card collecting arcade game that Lord of Arcana got its monster art from. Square Enix released Lord of Vermilion 2 in 2009 and a revised version came out earlier this year with King of Fighters and BlazBlue cameos.
