And next year Konami opens a magician’s academy

Thinking of unlikely localizations I spoke with someone from Konami who informed me they are in the process of localizing Tongari Boushi to Mahou no 365 Nichi (365 Days of Magic and the Witch’s Hat). The game will be known as Little Magician’s Magic Adventure when it comes out in February 2009. Little Magician’s Magic Adventure stars a wizard in school who balances making friends and casting spells with the touch screen. When I first saw the game I thought of Animal Crossing mixed with Harry Potter. Famitsu calls it a communication game so my initial impression may not be far off. I dig the concept so I’m glad to see Konami Computer Entertainment America taking an interest in the game even though it’s in preliminary stages.
