No Rune Factory: Frontier or Avalon Code until next year

This article is over 16 years old and may contain outdated information

Rune Factory: Frontier and Avalon Code (pictured) were at E3 last week in video form only. Both games aren’t scheduled to come out until Q1 2009 in North America. Neither game has a concrete release date in Japan. An extra few months isn’t that long a wait for an English version of both games, but that means we won’t be able to post any hands on impressions from Matrix Software’s post-Final Fantasy IV RPG.

Marvelous isn’t shy about mentioning the motion controls for Rune Factory: Frontier where you can “wave it [the remote] around when you’re on a date with a girl.” Great, but if you find that too tiresome you can use the Classic Controller in Rune Factory: Frontier. Since the Wii version of Rune Factory is further along take a look at the trailer I saw at E3 without shoving through people to find Xseed’s booth.
