Panda bowling? There’s an app for that thanks to the Tekken team. They released Tekken Bowl, a mini-game from Tekken Tag Tournament, for iOS devices and it’s free.
Tekken series director Katsuhiro Harada said the game is a gift from the Tekken project. The game has been scaled down from the PlayStation 2 version since it only has three characters: Jin, Panda, and Xiaoyu. After you pick a fighter bowler you can choose either a ten frame game or puzzle mode where you have 30 levels with pins placed in tricky positions.
An expanded version of Tekken Bowl is also part of Tekken Tag Tournament HD, which is included with the Blu-ray/game combo disc Tekken Hybrid. Here’s a look at Namco Bandai’s HD fighting game port.
Tekken Hybrid comes out later this year in North America. Tekken Bowl for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch devices is available now.
