Last weekend I talked with Xseed and was shocked when I found out they got the rights to Game Center CX. In the USA it will be called Retro Game Challenge to match the name of the upcoming series of DVDs when it arrives this winter. Populous DS was also a surprise since it’s an Electronic Arts franchise. I thought EA would eventually cave and localize it, but nope Xseed has been working on it and it’s scheduled to come out this fall.
A lot of people guessed Avalon Code and Rune Factory Frontier, which will be coming out in Q1 2009. I expected Xseed to work on both of these games since they partnered up with Marvelous, but it's nice to hear actual confirmation from the publisher.
