Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy’s Notes Detailed

Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy, Square Enix’s musical Final Fantasy game for Nintendo 3DS, has three kinds of notes. Each one is displayed with a different style icon. Red notes have players tap the screen. Green colored notes appear like a line that players have to slide on with the stylus. Blue notes have players touch and hold the beat.

Square Enix abridged thirteen mainline Final Fantasy titles for Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy. So, everything in the game, even fields, have music to follow. Fields and towns tend to have a more relaxing pace, but if you miss a note you can still lose life. Battles are up tempo and you have control of four different characters. The game features a variety of monsters from the Final Fantasy series.

 

When you start Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy you’ll see three main options: Music Game, StreetPass Mode, and a Museum that holds your digital song collection. Music Game branches into its own options story mode, challenge, and ????.

 

Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy is in development for the Nintendo 3DS, but Square Enix have not announced a time frame for the title.
