In May, two separate sources confirmed to us that the previously Xbox Live-exclusive multiplayer Castlevania: Harmony of Despair would be making its way to the PlayStation Network. Konami just made that news official, with a mention of bonus content.

New to the PlayStation Network version is a local 4-player co-op mode mode in addition to the existing 6-player online. Konami also added the “Beauty, Desire, Situation Dire” (Pyramid of Ruin) DLC map pack along with downloadable characters, Julius Belmont and Yoko Belnades to the PlayStation 3 version.

Castlevania: Harmony of Despair doesn’t have a release date yet, but it shouldn’t be too far off. Konami have it slated for a summer release.
